Running Shoe Technology

Ask runners what makes a great running shoe and you'll receive plenty of different answers. You'll be bombarded with replies enthusing about cushioning and stability, or lightness and responsiveness. You might even find those who wax lyrical about the color. However, whatever floats their boat runners will agree on one thing: you know that you're wearing a great running shoe when you forget that you're wearing them.

That's right, the best running shoes are the ones that are so comfortable and so in tune with your body that you don't notice them when you're running. They cushion your every step, they support you every time you hit the ground and they do it so well that they help you achieve the ultimate goal: they help you Run Easy. Perfect examples of such a shoes are the currently available running shoes from Reebok.

Of course, producing a shoe that helps you run easy doesn't come easy and Reebok has invested years of research in developing there running shoes. Recognizing that your feet spread and stretch as you hit the ground, Reebok developed the Kinetic Fit System (KFS).

The unique KFS technology provides perfect support where your foot needs it, but uses strategically placed stretchable material in areas where your foot requires room to move. In running shoes equipped with KFS this technology is located in the forefoot to create a shoe that adapts to your needs as you run. Combined with Reebok's trusted DMX Foam in the heel and forefoot, a dual-density medial post for stability and soft DMPRTEK rubber on the outsole, KFS means that the Reebok running shoes have all the ingredients for a great running shoe.
